Katherine Jackson has ordered an audit of Michael Jackson's estate.
There's only one problem: The executors are refusing to give her one...
Katherine Jackson's attorney tells Radar Online,
"My audit is being done to see the details of where the money is coming from and where it is going. The beneficiaries should be entitled to all detailed documentation so they can see what THEIR money is paying for."After filing the proper paperwork specially requesting representatives John Branca and John McClain produce a current accounting, Branca and McClain filed their own documents objecting to the audit on the grounds that the request is too vague and seeks highly confidential business and financial information.

AKA they are skimming off the top, the bottom & the side. They are probably doing shady business deals too. I don't understand why people trust others with THEIR money. I mean come on, would you really let someone handle your money day in and day out and you not check up on them? I try and tell theses people not to trust people like that.
I hope she gets it. It's Katherine's and the kids money not Branca & McClain, so they need to stop acting like it is. You can be replaced!!!

if money was still flowing, according to MJ's wishes for his mom to be taken care of, everything would be straight. This seems to me like there is no money coming in which is why there's a problem. Less money to go around and no one is happy. MJ could've formed a trust he wasn't stupid. But all the reckless spending left nothing to leave in trust. jmo

The beneficiaries are MJ's kids. Katherine is getting paid to watch over them and she's getting paid a lot of money to do so (last time I heard, it was upward to $80K/monthly). I doubt the kids requested an audit. I knew it was suspect the fact Katherine's attorney was the one that requested one.

Micheal trusted the executors with his money instead of his family, so the executors will not have to answer to the audit unless maybe it is court ordered.

The Jackson family has made no claims that bills aren't being paid or Katherine isn't getting money. The issue may be that her kids want her to have more money to slide to them. I wish the executors would show them balance and expense sheets so the family would sit down though.
Ive been wondering how much hush money is still being paid out for things MJ never wanted his mother to know about.

In 1995 Sony Music Publishing agreed to merge with ATV Publishing for a 50/50 Split In 2007 an audit of MJ’s estate said He was worth 390 million. (a lie)
Just two years later business BOOMED for Sony, Lady Gaga, Jonas Brother, Guitar Hero Games etc etc.
Today Sony/ATV Publishing is Worth 2 Billion in which HALF belongs to the MJ Estate….

There is NEVER ending money, just on MJ's music alone. Include just the Beetles, the estate will heed profits until music goes out of style. In JUST years, MJ's estate is in the black. That's crazy, considering MJ was in hundreds of millions in debt. For now on. the estate is just profit i.e. Elvis

The producers of Mad Men paid $250,000 for the rights to play ONE 2 minute Beatles song in ONE episode.
I don't know if Michael's estate got any part of that money, but if that much money can be demanded for the rights for ONE SONG (Beatles or anyone else), that makes potential for permanent riches. LONG money the Jacksons are looking at wasting on Jermaine's hair gel and Randy's business schemes.
Michael only had to tour because he was just as bad at wasting money as his siblings were. His only saving grace was that he had more money to spend than they did.

If the catalog was worth millions MJ could've lived off it for the rest of his life. Instead, he was gearing up for a tour he wasn't healthy enough to do. It's worth something, but not as much as the hype. just my opinion.

He was 300 Million in the RED. He never paid any bills. The Catalogs were not Liquid...it was the worth of them.
It doesn't matter "who" put her up to it ... the bigger question is, WHY isn't an audit being granted? They didn't say, okay, we'll do one at a later date, they start up said NO, uh uh, ain't gon happen!!! I would think they would do an audit just to shut the family up & get them off their backs.
I thought the shit was serious when Rebbie was involved. I see now why the family did pick TJ for guardianship. Smart move. It includes sly and the family stone music Sly gave interview with a rock magazine he wanted to talk to mike. ATV includes other artist music even some of elvis songs
There more music in those catalogs then the beetles this why mike had problems. one of the reason the sony had an issue with. because they were always trying to get the other 50 mike spent money like crazy but he would not sale under all the pressure. He bought ATV because Paul and Yoko who may not get along to this day were to cheap to bid more. And every chance paul gets he talks about mike because he bought the music. And he gave mike ideal about buying catalogs. Mike pissed him off my more letting them use revolution in nike commercial

Michael had more than one will and they all named Branca and McCain as executors, the 2002 will is the most recent. Michael also had a trust for the children. The will did not leave everything to the children. He left 40 % to his mother, 40% to his children and 20% to his charities.
