LaToya Jackson is headed to the OWN Network for her new reality series 'Life with La Toya...'
LaToya has been conspicuously absent from the whole Michael Jackson will debate but she's more than ready to step back into the spotlight. Cameras will follow Katherine and Joe Jackson's second oldest daughter as she juggles family, friends and her growing entertainment empire.
"Life with La Toya" will air on Oprah Winfrey's OWN Network in 2013.

I will say this, she appears to be one of the only Jackson's that cares about her brother's legacy and comes from a humble place when she speaks of him. I appreciate her for that. But I'm probably not going to watch...

I guess this explains why she has kept a low profile during the whole family vs the executors debacle. Was probably filming bits and pieces for her 'show'.

She did worst Prince cover (Private Joy) and sometimes I wonder what it would have been like if Mr. Nelson had hooked up with her. Before she started messing with her face, he was on her for years.
@12:11 I did say legacy, meaning after his death. I don't recall what you're mentioning from the past. Let's face the facts: MJ was and is the biggest star of any lifetime. Bigger than all his siblings combined (yes Janet too). And until I see footage or a quote from LaToya I find it hard to believe that she did those things especially since I remember she had a slew of her own problems, particularly domestic abuse.
Smart move, Oprah.

LaToya DID insinuate that Michael molested those boys. I remember she was on Geraldo back in the late 80s or early 90s saying that. She went on there after she did a spread for Playboy and an interview where she claimed that Joe Jackson molested her. I think she even wrote a book about it.

I can't find a video of where she went on Geraldo and talked about Michael, but she later said a few years ago that her ex-husband Jack forced her to say those things about him and her family.
Second 1:01, LaToya retracted ALL of those allegations she said against Michael. Her ex-husband, Jack Gordon, was the person who influenced her in saying those things and doing PlayBoy. I've read her book as well.
12:46 LaToya did in fact speak against MJ during the molestation trial involving the Chandler garbage family. I am sure her speaking with the press is still available of youtube. She did more than insuate. She flat out called him a pedophile. Later, she recounts her statements by implying that her abusive ex husband made her say those things about MJ.
There is footage of her speaking against MJ on the Man in the MIrror movie starring Flex as MJ. The footage shown in the film is real footage of her talking about MJ.

@1:51pm I read her book and it was awesome! I don't think I laughed that hard since. She explains the kind of abuse she endured from Joe jackson, her mother and her husband. She finally left him when he wanted to pimp her out by having a celebrity type strip show.
^^ I didn't laugh at the parts when she detailed her abuse but I did laugh at the parts when she told crazy stories about deranged fans and a bizzarre encounter she had at Phil Specter's house.
After watching LaToya on Celebrity Apprentice, I have a newfound respect for her. I was very impressed with the way she handled herself with those piranhas and still maintained a well-mannered composure. I think the Donald saw the same thing.
