The judge presiding over Usher and Tameka Raymond's bitter child custody battle has ruled that the trial will resume as scheduled...
Last week the child custody battle between Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Raymond flared up again because Usher, according to court documents, petitioned to have the case postponed because he believes Tameka will have an unfair sympathy advantage because of the recent death of her 11 year old son Kile Glover. Usher also cited concern that the trial would cause unnecessary stress and strain for himself, Tameka and their two minor children.
Tameka called Usher's claims of stress bogus, pointing out that he only visited Kile once during the 15 days he was in the hospital.
The case will begin as scheduled on August 13.

I agree that this case SHOULD go on. Yes, the death of her son is traumatic for Tameka; however, there are two other sons that are in question.
If she's too distraught to handle this, perhaps she SHOULD consider allowing Usher to have custody and she have visitation until she is ready to presume.....BUT NO!!!!! It is and always have been about that money.
Whatever the case, Usher should have smelled the clues before marrying her and/or having kids with her.

How many of you are aware of Tameka's criminal background. From a teenager she started her life of crime, robberies, con games; strong major drug involvement the list goes on to date. Usher being the young guy that he was, did not investigate her past, he didn’t know she was a sociopath. Poor guy didn’t have a clue. Tameka does not have the essentials to create a nurturing secure home for the boys and I hope the judge sees that. Usher is a better choice for this task.

Just because he only visited once doesn't mean he didn't care or wasn't stress out. There were probably many people there on a daily basis, particularly Tameka and Ryan immediate families. There is really no need for one man to be hovering around another man's family crisis.

Tameka wants as much of Usher's money as she can get. She would sell those boys outright if she could get away with it. Previous nannies have stated that there were times that Tameka would not see her sons for days and she lived right there in the same house with them. Too bad for the other sons (non-moneymakers) to have witnessed first hand the difference in parental treatment based on dollars. There can never be a happy conclusion with Tameka as one of the major players. That woman is a vile hood rat.
