Rihanna explains,
"I'm reminded of a lot of things. A lot of good memories. The slightest things... hotel rooms, tour venues, any little thing, music, songs...I do miss him at times."

Awww poor baby. By the sounds of it she was in love with Chris. It will take her a lil while to not only get over him, but to get over what he did/what happened between them. He may very well have been first true love, who knows. Lay off her guys. It's not easy getting over a man you're in love with. It's hard to let go. In Rihanna's case it must be even harder because she's having to "move on" and act like all is well infront of the world, when deep down she's hurting. I feel for her. Such a sad turn of events. And they were both so young when it happened. They made such a cute couple. Time is a great healer Rihanna.

Simple. People (specifically STANS) react differently when it comes to their faves. People want these celebrity to "get over" their drama-filled past but when it comes to their favorites he/she can do whatever, whenever.
I guess since K.Michelle is still on "basic bitch" status she needs to "get over it". But Rihanna can yodel how long she wants to about getting her ass beat. Not that there's anything wrong about her speaking on a traumatic moment in her life, I personally just wish she would seek counseling/professional help because it's obviously affecting her social/public life.

Given that she works in the entertainment industry it must be a lil harder for her too. The fact that he put his hands on her, there is no going back. @10:45 - I've never put my hands on any dude that I've been with. There was a couple that couldn't handle arguing and put hands on me first. One of them expected me to hit him back, but he was a golden gloves dude and we were in the car. He wasn't my boyfriend, so I didn't see him for awhile. After a few weeks, I saw him again and I raised my voice to something that he said (no name calling) and his exact words to me "Watch your tone. Remember what happened the last time" and that night was the LAST TIME I ever saw him again.
He let me WHO HE WAS and I was not gonna live my life in "fear" or "walking on eggshells". I'm not one of those chicks that like to get my ass kicked. I also know that real love doesn't physically hurt.

I will never tell anybody to get over it. When a break up doesn't happen amicably, it's so hard to move on. you didn't see it coming, be it rihanna or k michelle. even in our every day lives it happens. A guy broke up with me out of nowhere. After being together for so long and the next moment they're wanting to move forward without you, it hurts. If yall can't admit to that then you apparently haven't gone thru it.
It's natural to miss the last person u had a serious thing with, so I wouldn't tell her to sit down and stop talking about cb. People act like yall broke up, he whooped ya ass, move on. They were a couple. She's a mess and so is he, no matter what he's telling himself. They do need to have a sit down and get closure, cry, hug and then move on.
