Tameka Has Her Day in Court

Yesterday the child custody case between Usher and Tameka Raymond continued with Tameka taking the stand and admitting to having a shady past, but she was a little bit selective in what she was willing to admit...

On the stand Tameka admits stealing diapers for her son when she was 19 telling the court,
"Yes, I stole things. Please, I stole diapers before. I've gone in 7-Eleven and stolen diapers out of the store. I admit it, I was 19 years old, I'm not proud of it. I wouldn't do it now."
"When I lost my jobs and didn't have work, it was me and my crying baby at home. Just the two of us."
Conveniently leaving out arrests in 1991 [click here if you missed that] and 2005 [click here if you missed that].

Usher is gunning for full custody of their two sons on the grounds that Tameka is an unfit mother and his attorneys wrapped up testimony with an opinion from a psychologist that Tameka has a "moderately severe mental disorder."

Tameka is trying to maintain joint custody plus an increase in child support from $8,000 a month to $11,000 a month.

Testimony is expected to continue today.
