For the second time this year Tyler Perry's southwest Atlanta studios have gone up in flames...
Firefighters were called to Tyler Perry Studios today around 11am after fire broke out on the roof of a building on Tyler's eight acre studio lot. The cause of the fire is unknown.
Tyler Perry Studios caught fire back in May [click here if you missed that], the cause of that blaze is also unknown.

Except Tyler being gay isn't a rumor. It's an open secret in ATL. A lot of black people are homophobic; if they find someone is gay, they'll stop supporting them. Most of TP's audience are churchgoing women. He's not about to alienate his meal tickets.

I agree 100%. No one is owed a career in Hollywood. All of those actors and actresses would have a plan B or a legal side hustle if they had any brains. There are plenty of talented artists who held other employment while they applied their craft. I will take an honest 9-5 over cooning any day. David Chappelle turned down $50 million in production money in exchange for his freedom. And the black artists with the most integrity in their roles, tend to have the longest most respected careers.

He told them brothas don't cover white boys music--they cover our music. I don't think Bill has had a contact since then and he is one of the best song writers in the last century.
Some artists will make sacrifices, but we just don't hear about them. John Amos is another one who woudn't shuck, jive, or downplay their talent.
This is terrible. I'm certainly not a fan of Tyler's work, but if these are acts of arson he does not deserve it. Nobody does.
