When Chad Johnson was first arrested for headbutting his wife, Evelyn Lozada, Chad's past history of domestic violence was revealed, causing speculation that this second offense might result in jail time [click here if you missed that].
Well it looks like Chad caught a break...
Because he was convicted of domestic battery for slapping his girlfriend back in 2000, Chad could have easily been charged with a felony this time around.
Instead, because the prosecution chose to charge Chad with a misdemeanor, it's very unlikely he'll do any jail time.
