Chris Lighty's Mother to File Wrongful Death Lawsuit


The private investigator hired by 50 Cent on behalf of Chris Lighty's mother says the goal of his investigation is to file a wrongful death lawsuit against whoever is responsible for Chris' death...

Fox 5 news has learned the investigation into how Chris Lighty died is now ramping up because his heartbroken mother is looking to file a wrongful death lawsuit against whoever may have been responsible.
The lead investigator, Les Levine, told Fox 5 exclusively what the ultimate goal is. "I guess it comes down to the bottom question: Do I believe Chris would kill himself?' The answer is no," Levine said.

it's so easy to quickly point the finger and become the jury/judge of sm1 else.

I said from the start I dont think he killed himself knowing his kids were playing a few doors down. Did the gun have a silencer or something? has the neighbors or kids reported hearing gunshots?

If another exec "kills himself," yall better start asking questions. Shakir Stewart "killed himself" and now supposedly lighty did too.

yall act like suicide ain't an option. This man looked depressed as hell. people kill themselves every day. it's hard for a mama to hear and the investigator may be wanting to spare her feelings.

I do not know what happened, but...
Suicide is one of the greatest acts of selfishness, for in it the individual caters to his his own will, ignoring the catastrophic effects it has on others.

Although no place in the Bible does it come directly out and say "those that commit suicide will not be saved and go to heaven," I believe that a "True" Christian, and I do mean a "True" Christian would never do such an act, because it is very obvious a sin, pointed out in the above scripture.

We need to consider the reasons why suicide is wrong and why it is not the way to avoid painful circumstances. As an act of rebellion suicide is a sin against God. I want to name some of the reasons why suicide is wrong:

1. == It violates the 10 Commandments

2. == nowhere does the bible condone a person ending life to escape circumstances.

3. == LIFE IS A GIFT FROM GOD.

4. == Suicide is an expression of self hatred and the bible says we are to LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS AS OURSELVES.

5. == Suicide usurps the power that belongs only to God.

6. == A person who commits suicide short circuits Gods will for his or her life.

7. == It is an expression of **FAITH**. Philippians 4:19 says: My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. You see, this applies to financial needs and emotional and physical needs.

8. == Suicide is an act of **SELFISHNESS**

9. == IT HURTS THE CAUSE OF CHRIST.

"You shall not kill" (Exodus 20:13). This command is based on the sanctity of human life. We must remember that man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26).

after Elijah was fighting with jezebel, he became very weary and went to stay under a tree

they still have free will and can make a bad judgement decision
This is y a lot of sinners or unbelievers dont come to Christ Jesus 4 help in their time of need
Because of people like u who love to condemn and judge
im so glad that in the past when i tried to off myself, that i got a nice loving patient on the prayerline who told me Jesus loved and care about me
Not trying to contradict myself,
but 1 time i did get a man on the
prayerline that did say if i did commit suide i was going to hell
scared the living daylights out of me, which preventing me from doing it
Depression is real and not to be played with and they are some true christians and insensitive people and even some so called professinals that work in that field who are only educated and cant feel your hurt and pain at the time of despair
But if u hold on for just 1 moment or day, things can get better
if you are dead u may never find out and God created EVERYONE
and He loves EVERYONE.

The Bible also says Mathew 7:1 "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged"

There is a disorder called "manic depressive". Alot of individuals self medicate instead of seeking medical attention.

People who commit suicide aren't trying to be selfish! Men in general refuse treatment!

None of us know his medical history! I have a nephew who committed suicide. He suffered tremendously "mentally". He was in pain. He heard voices. He admitted it. My family had warning signs. We ignored the signs!

They assumed my cousin committed suicide because of his documented mental history. They never found gun residue on his hands. It's impossible to shoot yourself twice. We hired a private investigator.

I suffer from "Bipolar" and trust me I attempted suicide. Before you pass judgement learn about the warning signs!

I never believed Chris killed himself for a second. His mother knows it, and she knows her son better than anybody. He was murdered made to look like suicide. I do on the other hand believe Shakir killed himself. He was made to do things which he wanted no part of (to get to the next level of success) and threatened with being exposed if he didn't fall in line. It’s unfortunate, but I think it got the best of him. Chris on the other hand was playing ball and had been for a very long time. He loved what he did. He was sad about his business merging and wife leaving, but he loved his kids and life. He was a true hustler, and the last thing a hustler would ever do is give up and kill himself.

Actually I was pointing out your ignorance! I didn't ask for scriptures I know the "Bible"!
Which part of my post did I say you were "new at faith"? I don't know you!

"Judgement (or judgment) is the evaluation of evidence in the making of a decision".

Tell me which part of your comment wasn't judging? Christians like to throw out scriptures and tell individuals what they shouldn't do but they never will walk a mile in that persons shoes.

Research Mental Illness. Educate yourself! Let me point this out again individuals who are depressed are unaware of the characteristics. To them it's normal behavior.

In return the family members ignore the warnings signs which unfortunately leads to the family member committing suicide.

I'm so tired of the bible thumping, condemnation, and the lack of awareness/understanding about depression, manic depression and other mental disorders.

I'm sick of tired of ppl calling suicide selfish. Many ppl who take their lives are SICK! This is comparable to being mad at an Alzheimer victims b/c s/he forgets things!

I think it's selfish for ppl to call ppl who commit suicide selfish: I think it's selfish to expect someone who's hurting to think about your silly feelings. They're hurting! And be honest, you are NOT thinking abt them the way you expect them to think abt you -- if you were, wouldn't you get them help?

Your last paragraph says it all. This is what ignorant people don't understand. Bipolar has steps that usually aren't identified until something happens. Bipolar is misdiagnosed for years.

Some of the Mania characteristics are:
1. prideful view of self
2 a strong desire to gratify wants
3. uncontrolled destructive anger.

We are all born with the natural desires. Now how we respond to the temptation is different. It depends on our DNA, environment, and spiritual condition.

"Tracey" needs to mediate on The scripture John 8:7. because the desires are prevalent.
