Earlier this week the Hip Hop community was shocked after high powered manager Chris Lighty committed suicide [click here if you missed that].
Initial reports claimed the incident happened after an argument with his estranged wife Veronica Lighty, but a spokesperson for Veronica says that's not true...

“He was in a lot of pain and he possibly had some financial difficulties,” said Norman Downes, a friend who spoke on behalf of Veronica Lighty, who was too upset to speak Friday.
“But they didn’t get into a fight that day,” Downes insisted.
Lighty’s suicide came as he was preparing to move out of their W. 232nd St. home in South Riverdale. The couple was in the midst of a bitter divorce.
The mogul walked out of the house, saying, “I’m tired of this,” and walked to the back yard and shot himself in the head with a 9-mm. handgun, sources said.
But Lighty’s wife, speaking through Downes, suggested that Lighty’s financial problems might have finally pushed the successful entrepreneur over the edge.
Sources said Lighty’s money woes included a debt to the IRS that would have cost him more than $300,000 in unpaid state and federal taxes.
When asked if financial problems might have provoked Lighty to commit suicide, Downes said, “The only person that really knows is Chris, and he ain’t here.”
Lighty’s death was officially ruled a suicide Friday.

So, Al B Sure asks Chris why would diddy be trying to kill him?
Chris tells Al that diddy does not want Al having any influence on Quincy ( Al B Sure's son by kim porter ). Quincy is getting older now, and he is able to understand certain things. Al may have been telling Quincy to always watch his back when Diddy comes to their home, and diddy may have noticed a change in character with Quincy.
Chris told Al all of this, but somehow diddy found out that Chris was talking, and he had Chris set-up for the blood sacrifice instead of Al.

In our community we look at mental illness as a controllable situation where the party who is suffering is not being man/woman enough to overcome the problems. It is a widespread belief perpetuated by the black church that prayer will answer all your problems. Seeking medical help is something only crazy white people do. Suicide does not happen overnight there is a long battle with depression before they take the final step.

It's the stories they create when to cover the real deal. This story has changed so much in the little time he's been reported dead. First they say his IRS debt was 5 million, now it's 300,000. Yes we all know depression is real issue (although imo it has a lot to do with environment and lack of vitamins and minerals and an unhealthy diet that cause depression). But folks in hollywood DO NOT endure the same situations nor live the same life that normal people do. It's a completely different world. Maybe Chris Lighty battled depression but many people have reveal truths about the entertainment industry and that is a whole 'nother demon in and of itself. As far as the marriage and divorce goes, other than what has already been documented by the legal system, his side of the story is gone for good and what hasn't been told won't be told.
African people (yes, even the so-called African Americans) do kill themselves. Suicide is very real among essentially any population. Anybody can feel like they've been driven to a point where the only way out would be to take their own life. A lot of people refuse to seek help for whatever reason. Counseling won't make financial woes or many other type of problems go away, but it could help make one deal with them a little better. Suicide is an irreversible coping mechanism to depression and stress.
Bringing up God and prayer at this point won't make a bit of a difference and it certainly won't bring back the deceased. Everything can't and won't be made right or better with prayer, but it might give someone the impression that things are.
