It is hard to believe that any of this is more than just another grab for attention. Genuine change does not happen in front of a camera being interviewed by someone you dont even know. I suppose anything is possible but i would be more inclined to think it was real if her face wasnt all over the place...a person really has to spend some time alone doing some real reflection and then you have to make amends to the people you hurt. I really respect Iyanla for the questions she asked Evelyn in the part 1, which was shown on saturday and part 2 which was shown yesterday. During part 1, Iyanla showed clips from BBW and made Eve explain her violent actions from the show. Then Iyanla told her right in her face that she was a thug among women! Evelyn cringed when they showed the clip of her running atop of the table to attack Jennifer. Iyanla stayed in her face and really didn't pull any punches with her. And she made Eve admit to alot of her faults. Iyanla even made her admit to taking out her frustrations with Chad on the ladies and that's only one of the reasons why she was so angry and violent. Check out both episodes if you can cause the both parts were interesting. I didn't really want to watch at first but when I saw how Iyanla handled Eve I continued to watch. I also noticed how Eve teared up because she feels that many think she deserves the headbutting due to her image from BBWs. I have a wait and see approach with Eve because she may act the same way on BBWs, and all of this may not change her at all. She might remain a thug among women!

Evelyn came across to me like a airhead who doesn't have much on her mind but fame, anger and sex. I could tell that she was not the kind of person who seeked out knowledge beyond shallow interests. Her mother was also a sign of a woman who does not know much or never spoke to her daughter about much in life. When Iyanla asked her who was she and then Evelyn asked her the question back because she didn't have answer only to give her back the same answer in returned it really show her lack of thought process. Also when she asked her what was her overall image for marriage another blank moment.
I can tell that Evelyn does want to change but she doesn't seem to feel much shame for the actions that she has taken against other people. The only person she did seems to care about was Chad kids.
She really does not have a good support system I was thinking you mean between the billions of famous women that you were meeting having this life not one of them presented the image of a real woman for you to model after that mad you question your behavior and actions?

yeah, I find that folks who say the "if you're gonna cheat, use a condom" statement, are really hoping for sweeping confirmations of validation from their partners expressing that they wont even consider cheating even with a condom. Often times they also feel that saying this will make them appear more progressive and "with the times", but still that old fashion yearning for fidelity and monogamy from their partner still burns.
So folks, search your hearts well and if you don't want them to cheat, tell them that. Don't set up an convenient "Escape Clause" for them. And don't be afraid to stand up for what you believe in, even though you may end up with rejection from at that time. It sure beats heartbreak later on from find out about an indiscretion.

Is it just me, or did iyanla & evelyn have anyone else crying besides me. (I didn't read comments yet) As much as people didnt like her, I always messed with her, which baffled me. Now I know why...I saw myself in her...Yikes! No, I'm not violent but I really felt this counseling session. It made me look at my own ish. My father was ALWAYS in my life, and an AMAZING dad (I know, crazy I am) but he cheated constantly & hit my mom, which caused them to divorce. I grew up with rich white kids whose parents were married with huge homes & of course as a child, I thought their lives were perfection. I equated my mom's struggle as a single mom, although he was present & somewhat financial, to men being cheaters and risking everything for some puss (although she did damn good, becoming a hugely successful entrepreneur EVENTUALLY, hence the reason I can afford to comment on RWS).
