One of the more shocking revelations from Usher and Tameka Raymond's bitter child custody battle was that Usher slept with one the bridesmaids from his and Tameka's wedding [click here if you missed that].
Last night on Oprah's Next Chapter, Usher admits having "an exchange" with the bridesmaid and that he was unfaithful to Tameka towards the end of their marriage....
Usher also admits that pressure the public pushed their marriage over the edge and Usher's mother admits if she had it to do over again she STILL would boycott the wedding.

After last night's interview it is very clear that Usher's mother fought for him tooth and nail, in every aspect of his life. Maybe there were one too many details leaked about Tameka's request during the proceedings, but she did fight. Sometimes it is best to end it all with a decree in order to "see eye to eye."
I always felt that the public had to a lot to do with the break up. Usher could not handle the pressure and I think Temaka fell under the eyes and scrutiny of the public. The public was horrible to her, always felt bad for her but you can't let them see you sweat.

his mom is an interesting character, too...she seemed very nervous. i think ush was blown when she flat out said she would not have come to the wedding looking back, but i can't say i blame her.

It doesnt change my sentiment of the loss she experienced but Dayum, insisting on going right back to court after your son dies? That means you really don't give a fuck about no one's emotions. Usher seemed as if he was almost shocked to hear that she wanted to go back to court so rapidly. I feel as though Usher did not lie in this interview and although Oprah tried to dive into his fidelity and Usher's reactions to all of these situation, Usher remained consistent. It is sad that all of this is being played out, but one day his son's will archive all of this and look at their Mother and realize she cared more about her lifestyle and a Saks card.

@1:51PM. Great explanation for Tameka wanting to get it over with. If you've never dealt with the court system (domestic/criminal/ child support/etc), brace yourself. Lawyers, court dates, subpoenas, fees, trials, witnesses, financial depositions, etc would cause MOST to have nervous breakdowns and/or commit suicide.

I agree with 1:40 and 1:43. That pretty much sums it up for me. Urkelsher cares more about what his mother thinks regarding his personal and professional life and it's sort of creepy, and Meek Meek didn't want to lose her lifestyle and while securing it with an heir and a spare, she's definitely caught up in some generational fuckery coming from the Raymonds.

@3:54 Tameka is destined for the Loony Ben and nothing is going to smother her destiny. Did she get any child support from the first child’s (that we know of) dad; if not maybe, she can sue his father for all the back support money and for being a deadbeat. Tameka had lots of babies but she does not raise them (a good thing). She uses her children as a source of income for her lifestyle. She needs a new gimmick to work her show.
