Nia Long is rumored to star as the lead character Zoe with Tasha Smith cast as her therapist and according to Always A List, Boris Kodjoe has been tapped to play Jason Reynard.
The project is being distributed by Lionsgate.

Ok cool. I've read the book before and I enjoyed it. It's about a woman becoming a sex addict and she has an affair with 2 different men. Nia Long playing the lead is good fit and I could also see Sanaa playing the role.
in the book ,the dude Joquinette liked ws dark skinned....ie Idris or somebody liked that. Leave it to hollywood to change up for pretty yellow.Boris is ok i guess....but they should have gotten somebody with more edge...ie Sanaa(because the lead character is homely) and Idris because he can play street well. Nia....naw she look to freaky. The books main girl is homely with a hidden freak side. N yeah,Iam watch....I like some of Zane's freaky books.

@6:33PM You're talking about the wrong book. The book you're thinking about is "Nervous". Also Joquinette wasn't homely. She was an attractive woman who was just shy and dressed very conservative. She had a split personality a shy/quiet side and a sassy/freaky side. You probably got the characters mixed up because both characters went to a therapist to seek help with their problem. Anyway that was a good book too. I wouldn't mind seeing it translated on film like this one. I have the novel "Nervous" as an ebook on my laptop and I read it from time to time that's why the details of the story are still fresh in my mind.
