Insiders claim Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina plans to record a duet with her late mother to jump start her singing career...

WHITNEY HOUSTON’s ambitious daughter BOBBI KRISTINA BROWN plans to explode onto the music scene in a big way – by performing a duet with her late mom.
The troubled 19-year-old, who’s already been to rehab for drugs and booze problems, intends to lay down her own vocals over the track to her mom’s 1985 breakthrough hit, “Saving All My Love for You.”
But the aspiring singer’s aunt Pat and grandmother Cissy Houston believe she would be “making the mistake of her life” by attempting to use her mother’s fame as a shortcut to stardom, says an insider. They feel she needs to work with a vocal coach to hone her skills. What’s more, Bobbi’s voice is much huskier than her mother’s.
“They really don’t match up for duet purposes,” noted another source.
Despite the criticism, Krissi plans to record the duet next year, so long as she can secure the rights to her mom’s hit song.

She actually has a voice on her. More raspy like her dad but she can hit some notes like her mom. Smoking and drinking messes up your voice though so she needs to get that cleaned up.

I am surprised that kids who have two parents with talent is not a guarantee the kid will be a good singer. @2:43 PM Natalie Cole did have a drug issue, but it was due to the sudden and tragic death of her then husband at the time. She also had a nervous breakdown, which is when her mother stepped in and took control of her finances until Natalie was mentally stable to do it herself.
Check the Ebony archives for the details. They did a write up on her regarding this issue. Don't remember the year, but remember reading the story.

No disrespect to this young lady, but she does not have the gift of song IMHO. She needs to stop putting pressure on herself, thinking that Whitney's fans expect her to sing and expect her to sound just like her mom.
She needs counseling so they can help her through her grieving. Once she's able to live with her mom's death, she can move on with her life and the other will fall in place.

Wow, the person who did that video really has no compassion. Going viral and bashing someone's looks is very disrespectful. However, that person was spot on about BK's singing and the fact that BB & Whitney should have told BK the truth about her singing.

Bobbi Kristina has a nice voice.. check her out on YOUTUBE.. she isn't great like her mom Whitney... Drinking, smoking and drugs are negatively affecting what little of a decent voice she has... But yes she can sing!!!

@8:56 PM Natalie Cole and he deceased husband were full blown drug addicts way before he (the husband) died a drug induced death. Natalie then got deeper into drug addiction when he died of that heart attack. Natalie has a book were she details her addiction.
@5:32 PM I saw the YouTube video of her singing months ago and I just viewed it again. She cannot sing. Even if she were to quit smoking and drinking, she would still sound terrible. The truth hurts and this is something BK is going to find out if she continues to pursue a singing career.

Bobbi is just doing what a lot of sad ass artist do. She knows she can't make it on her own and is using Mommy Dearest to help put her on the map.
