Ryan Leslie Ordered to Pay $1 Million

Back in 2010 music producer Ryan Leslie got his MacBook stolen during a trip to Germany. After the theft Ryan went on Youtube and offered a $20,000 reward for his MacBook's safe return.

At first there were no takers, until Ryan upped the ante...

Not long after boosting the reward to a wallet busting $1 million, an auto-shop owner turned the MacBook in to police claiming he'd found it in the woods, and that's when Ryan tried to welch on the deal [click here if you missed that].

The shop owner sued Ryan, who argued that he was unable to assess music files on the MacBook, making the reward null and void.

A jury didn't agree with Ryan and ordered him to pay up.
