Back in 1996 Kobe Bryant took R&B singer Brandy Norwood to his senior prom and made an appearance on her popular TV show Moesha, sparking rumors that they were a couple.

Brandy appeared on ESPN's First Take on Thursday and said,
“We were just friends.”
“I never dated Kobe Bryant. Ever.”
