LAPD Apologizes for Releasing Notorious B.I.G Autopsy Report

Last week the Los Angeles Police Department released the never before seen autopsy report for Brooklyn rapper Christopher 'Notorious B.I.G' Wallace.

Apparently the LAPD did not bother to notify the family before they made the report public...

The autopsy report, which was posted in its entirety on TMZ showed Biggie was shot four times, but only one bullet was fatal.

The report also showed that B.I.G was clean and sober at the time of his death.

After complaints from his family about releasing the 15 year old report the head of LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Division issued the following statement,
"Our detectives personally spoke with the Wallace family (Friday) night, and apologized for not notifying them prior to the release,"
"Obviously this has been a challenging case for us to solve. We hope that witnesses or other people with information will come forward and give us the clues we need to solve this case."
