Beyonce does sound uneducated, sorry. As a Midwest native, that "Southern" dialect is not what's up---at least not up here. The world of communications in America (Broadcasting, Print Journalism, etc.) uses the "Midwest" as the standard of speech. The General American accent is most closely related to a generalized Midwestern accent and is spoken particularly by many newscasters. Maybe this is why majority of us think Beyonce sounds "slow"?

But her pattern of speech and seemingly limited vocabulary seem odd. I would say most 5th graders can express themselves verbally better than she can. I would actually put her at 2nd grade level.
However, she can sing songs and she can do voices for animation just fine. So it seems her problem is with extemporaneous speech, which leads me to think she might have some kind of speech or thought disorder. If so, I congratulate her for overcoming a disability and becoming successful.
However, maybe her "speech problem" is that she's trying to be someone she is not. Maybe if she would just talk like she does at home, she'd communicate much better.
I don't think it has anything to do with her lack of education. I know many people without formal education who speak very well.

I am a Louisiana native and understands what she is saying. However I live in Georgia now and sometimes have trouble understanding native Georgians when they speak; mainly when they talk fast. She was really struggling, and her answers didn't have much depth.
She has such a huge platform, but people doesn't know what she stands for, and in these times, it's very important. MJ, in all his weirdness, had a clear message for effecting change.
