Back in 2011 super producer Timbaland lost a million dollar watch, that was rumored to have been stolen by a member of his wife's family [click here if you missed that].
After two years Tim is suing his insurance company for rejecting his claim on the loss..
From TMZ
According to a lawsuit filed against American Home Assurance Company last month, the music mogul claims he paid over $50,000 to take out a policy with AHA back in May 2010. Timbaland says the policy covered a slew of expensive items, including his Jacob & Co. 18K white gold watch, loaded with over 30 CARATS of diamonds!!!
In the suit, Timbaland claims he lost the watch in August 2010 and filed a claim with AHA -- and even testified under oath that it was missing -- but the company DENIED his request and hasn't paid a dime.
But there's a twist ... this is the SAME watch Timbaland reported stolen two years ago -- which is when his family called the cops ... claiming he was so distraught by the loss they feared he might commit suicide. Timbaland was adamant he never planned to kill himself.
In the suit, the rapper says he believes (and testified under oath) it was his two-and-a-half-year-old daughter who "picked [the watch] up and played with it until she became bored and discarded it somewhere."
He adds, "It has never been found."
Timbaland is suing for $1.8 million -- the value of the watch -- plus interest and attorneys' fees.

FIRST: Kneegrow please...!
Now I'm not going to question why he needs a $1 million dollar watch because he's rich and he spends his money the way he wants to. However, I do wonder why if the watch is so beloved why he would allow his 2 year old to play with it. That's crazy. I wouldn't allow my 2 year old to play with a $1000 watch much less a $1 million one.
While he's at it, he should sue somebody for his missing neck.
Neck insurance?
Who spends 1.8 mill on a watch? Why don't these "celebrities" instead give back to the community? Do you know how much $1.8 can do for one city? Disgusting when there so many folks out here strugglin to keep food on they tables or pay for the cost of medicine to keep a cancer stricken family member alive. And he let his 2 year old play wit the shit like it was a plastic toy? SMH
Insurance companies hate to pay up period. If it's theft, fire, homeowners, automobile, disibility or whatever, them motherfuckers don't like to pay claims! The have special agents that investigate claims that receive bonusus for claims not paid. That's a fact.
He a fraud, always been one & will always be one. PERIOD
They shudda never given that Nicca money....
His wonderful lawyers should invite this gaudy clown to read the fine print of his insurance policy which I am sure stipulates exact coverage conditions such as how the watch will be stored, who has access, etc. If moron thinks an insurance company will just "insure" such a commodity without conditions he is dumber than he looks. I hope he gets nothing but a good azz ping from his lawyer's bill.
The issue is the watch was misplaced not lost (his words)....he should've never said the daughter was playing w it and put it down. If it was truly lost, he would have no idea who had it last or where it could possible be...that's just how insurance companies view that shit!
@2:49 gaudy clown LMAO
This fat lying FRAUD bitch.
Anytime you let a 2 year old play with a 1.5 million dollar watch you deserve to lose it.
FAT LYING FRAUD, he lost the damn watch
His wife greedy ass crackhead fam stole it. Shit been known.
First of all the insurance company is not going to pay for it because - Timbaland has admitted that HIS 2 year old daughter was playing with it and lost it. So they are going to say that it is his fault that something happened to the watch. Sorry Timbo, but you won't be collecting on that lawsuit. Your baby your responsibility to watch her and not let her play with such a valuable item. Next time let one of those crackheads in your old neighbor hit you in the head and it will look more real and you just might be able to collect.
i bet he knows what time it is.
...he's just trynna hide it up from the IRS that'll be hittin' his ass up for back taxes soon!
Lol he still crying over this watch? He almost jumped off a cliff because of a stupid watch. Lol. This nigga.
@1:52....Agents sell insurance. Adjusters inspect and research claims. Trust me no one gets a bonus for anything on that level. Executives do get a bonus if it is a profitable year but that is a financial beast of a whole different kind. Also depending on which type of policy he purchased for the watch decides if it is covered. If he purchased a rider on his homeowners policy that scheduled that piece of jewelry like a wife would schedule her engagement/wedding ring, the insurance company would replace it no question if it was proven that it was a valid loss. If someone they knew took it, it would be grounds not to pay the claim. He should sue the insurance company so they have to prove why they are denying the claim, but I bet it is for a valid reason, ie. a guest/family memeber stole it, they know who it is, and he does not want to press charges against that person.
LOL what a clown maybe his wife sold it to pay for her private condo in atlanta
fraud jus like his music he claim to own
