Big Boi Hints at Outkast Reunion

No matter how many times Andre 3000 says it's never going to happen, Big Boi keeps insisting that it is.

Outkast's Big Boi says fans can expect an Outkast reunion next year on the 20th anniversary of their debut album...

Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik debuted April 26, 1994 and Big Boi tells Power 106 in Los Angeles,
"We been kind of discussing some things. Once we map it out, we'll make an announcement. But we'll see. It's 20 years, man. We started out at 15, 16 years old. We made our first album when we were 17 years old. Twenty-five million records later, seven Grammys, I feel great."

I am not going to let you keep playing with my emotions Big Boi. I'll believe it when I hear a single or see an album cover or when Dre actually makes an announcement. Not here for anymore Big Boi "hints." Over it.

And media stop asking about it. Tired of reading the same quotes.

What went wrong with these two? Can anybody dish?

Nothing to dish, nothing is wrong, Dre is just taking a break..they haven't broken up..To be honest Dre doesn't think today's fan of music can appreciate Outkast, they're too dumbed down..

^^^thanks for info - glad to know they still tight

Poor Babe. The media keeps asking about Dre, and he keeps Dre in his mouth so he can sell more cd's. nothing in that statement is definitive; and we know better than to take Big's word for it.

@10:47 so DRE rather do collabos and hooks on garbage ass tracks for/with garbage ass artists of today than to do a sincere real hiphop cd for an OUTKAST fanbase that's in the millions & starving for some real hiphop music

FOH WITH THAT NONSENSE YOU SPEWING

“I’m not the type that prescribes to nostalgia, and most people say they want an OutKast album because they used to love it. Y’all don’t even know if y’all still love it. You just know you used to love it. But you may not like it now, who knows?”

In other words y'all too fukkin dumb to appreciate it! This means YOU 11:32

@12:23 whatever NUMB NUT. if that quote you posted is an indication that they no longer have GREATNESS IN THEM to do OUTKAST FANS justice then so be it then BUT as long as they stay true to themselves and don't go the trendy garbage trash route that's being played on the radio now THEN WHY WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO OUTKAST FANS and to anyone that's craving some real hiphop music.

11:32 - Dre did say something like that. I think snitch posted it a while ago, but I'm not 100% sure because I read a lot of blogs.

I wish they would do another album already. It is long overdue, and if nothing else they should do it for their fans. F*uck everybody else. I still bump Kast because the music today is garbage.

Sounds like another one of those get-out-my-contract fulfilling Destiny's Child "Compilations" complete with a random ass studio left over track like "Nuclear". Someone please tell Big Boi, and Andre 3000 for that matter, that no one is dying for them to reunite. Their last real album together(if you can call it that) was more like a "2-for-1" CD Sales Bin "Value Package" than an actual group effort. They can keep that "Come Back" as far as I'm concerned, lol.

Hasn't this already been discussed? Last I heard, Andre seemed pretty adamant about not doing a reunion.

There are only 12 comments regarding these two. So who does Big Boi think he is Beywolf??????????

^^^ Maybe he figured since the king/queen is being dethroned, he finally had a chance at getting some kind of attention. Po little Tink Tink.
