Bow Wow and Cash Money Sued Over Samples
Bow Wow and his record label, Cash Money Records, are being sued for using a sample from 70s band, The Persuaders, without permission.
Sure no one's ever going to hear the record but that's not the point..!
According to TMZ Robert Poindexter is suing Bow Wow and Cash Money for sampling his 1972 hit song, "Love Gonna Pack Up (and Walk Out), for Bow Weezy's 2010 track "Still Ballin."
Poindexter claims he reached out to Bow Wow's attorney's who directed him to Cash Money's attorney's who directed him back to Bow Wow.
Poindexter is seeking $600,000 in damages plus interest.

Cash Money are a bunch of thieving thugs anyway!
These fucking idiots can brag about everything but a good education and their ability to actually play an musical instrument.
STOP STEALING OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK! THIEVING BASTARDS!!!!!
LMAO @snitch's comment about no one ever hearing it. You're right about that one. And this post will probably be the only reason why anyone even checks for it on youtube (IF anyone even decides to do that). And I could've sworn there were several posts last year and the year before that on here that Bow Wow had been DROPPED from Cash Money? I guess RWS isn't the virtual bible we believed it to be no?..
Day late and dolla short post, but still it represents stealing of tracks for hip hope alive. I can play old songs and my sons can tell me who used the tracks and beats to my songs. I would listen to the hip hop lyrics and scream I BET THEY DIDNT PAY FOR IT!!!
Damn. That's really too bad. Well, looks like you'll be signing over your checks after you finish playing Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez in that TLC movie.
