The New York cast of Love and Hip Hop hasn't managed to connect with their demographic quite the same way as the cast in Atlanta and it's starting to show up in the numbers...
According to the Nielsen ratings, via Urban Belle Blog, the season three debut episode of Love and Hip Hop NY debuted with a strong 2.6 million viewers but has steadily dropped off since.
LHHNY averages about 1.8 million viewers per episode while Love and Hip Hop Atlanta pulled in over 3 million viewers per episode.

LOL@2:10. i don't even watch the show but i was channel surfing and then saw this odd looking couple. I watch for a few minutes then i had to keep it moving. I will say because of theses rachet shows a spend more time at the gym and more time reading. I don't rush home to watch tv and i sure ain't pay estra for a dvr for this type of progrsmming.

The problem with this season is that damn near EVERYONE on it is unlikeable. Erica is a fucking nut job in every sense of the word. Rich is gross. Olivia is not likeable at ALL.Joe Budden might be a sociopath or narcissist.Consequence is blah.Jen is the cliche white chick. Raqi is a birdbrained bird. The only person that I like is Tahiry and Yandy grew on me from the previous season.Since hearing about the molestation trial Mandeecees is under my microscope to see if I can spot any pederast traits.
