Jurors in Hackensack this afternoon acquitted VH1 “Love & Hip Hop” star Mendeecees Harris of sexually assaulting a teenager by coercing her with money and other manipulation in his Lodi home when she was 15.
Fellow “Love & Hip Hop” star Yandy Smith was among those in the courtroom who leapt to their feet and stomped, clapped, shouted and sobbed, raising arms skyward, as the verdicts to the eight individual charges were read just before 4 p.m.
“I love you!” one of them shouted to the jurors, who returned the verdicts after a few hours of deliberations.
Sheriff’s officers then asked them to return to order.
When they wouldn’t, Presiding Superior Court Judge Liliana DeAvila-Silebbi ordered them to leave.

Only two people know the truth. If he's truly innocent then I'm glad, but if he's guilty he'll pay for his sins.
With that being said (these are my assumptions since I've only heard about this thru blogs).... The jury may have only had the young lady's testimony and no physical evidence or corroboration of other witnesses to find him guilty. I'm also assuming the burden of proof was beyond a reasonable doubt, so the defense only had to introduce doubt in this case.
Regardless of the court outcome two lives and two families have been affected by this. If the girl is telling the truth I pray she receives counseling and forgives him so she can move on with her life. Her story may be a breakthrough for someone else. If she's lying I hope she comes forward with the truth to clear this man's name.
As for Mendeecees if he's lying - it will surely come back on him. No matter what a court says he knows if he did or did not molest that girl. If he's telling the truth I pray he forgives the girl and moves forward in his life using this as a lesson to learn from.

Im going to play devil's advocate but..How do ya'll know he coerced her to have sex with him? How do we know if they had sex at all? Just bc someone says something happens doesnt mean it did and sometimes people lie...I agree with another poster only God and the parties involved know what really happened. I'm a single parent and this stuff doesn't go on in my house. My daughter is more important to me than some man who is not her father, and probably has baggage of his own. Problem is, if something did jump off, I would not know it till after it was over, which is why this single parent won't live with anyone who is not her child.
