Rapper Lil Wayne has taken some serious criticism over the last few weeks. First for his nauseating use of Emmett Till in a metaphor for rough sex, then for his F-bomb laden tirade against the Miami Heat and the NBA and finally for bragging about about his sexploits with Miami Heat Chris Bosh's wife, Adrienne.
Right or wrong T.I. stands firmly in Weezy's corner...

Radio stations should boycott Lil Wayne until he releases a public apology to the family of Emmitt Till. Anything less is unacceptable. From him, or the radio stations.
These southern rappers have got to get it together. They have made a mockery of current day hiphop.
Rap and hiphop used to be diverse, and most artists had a message or a unique flow. Most of these current rappers sound like illiterate hoodrats grunting like neatherthals.
They need to stop the cooning and bring consciousness back to Hiphop.

Agreed @9:47 and 10:04 his "talent" is over flooded by his ignorance and his penchant for making DUMB INEXCUSABLE decisions. And being mainstream only says you're more popular, it doesn't say he's worthy of the popularity he's getting.
What Lil Wayne said about Emmett Till was completely disrespectful. The only good that came out of it is that I talked to my son about Emmett Till and he read a long article about him and had so many questions about why it happened. Take this as an opportunity to education our children so they don't make the same mistakes.
Is one thing to stand by your friends when they're going through - it's another to condone their actions.
I'm glad I've never supported neither one of those clowns, and I find it mighty strange only one person (Stevie Wonder) has publicly said that Wayne is wrong for his Emmett Till reference. Most of these pro black celebs are so fake. They will only speak up for foul play when it becomes popular or safe to hop on the bandwagon. I was too through with Nas when he said Gwyneth Paltrow's tweet about "N*ggas in Paris for real" was ok and that he would fight for her.

@10:25PM Exactly. You would think that since it's black history month radio stations would be more appalled about this reference. When I heard the song on one station, the Emmett Till line was edited out. I still think the song should be pulled altogether. The song overall is garbage anyway. Future is not a good artist. People will just like anything now.
