Bobby Brown turned himself in to the L.A. County jail yesterday to begin his 55 day sentence for drunk driving and he's already been released...
Last month Bobby Brown pleaded no contest to drunk driving charges, while on probation for a prior DUI, and was sentenced to 55 days in jail [click here if you missed that].
After turning himself in yesterday to begin his sentence Bobby served a total of 9 hours before being released due to prison overcrowding.
Bobby is on 4 years probation and must complete an 18 month alcohol program.

I really wish he would get some help. Will all of these DUI's he's gonna mess around and kill somebody or himself!! Didnt he learn anything from Whitney...without treament there is no happy ending to addiction.

Do you really believe that a grown woman who has been doing hardcore drugs for over 20 years hasn't done that same routine of doing drugs and then taking a bath a thousand times before? A woman can't stay with a person like Bobby for soooo long unless she's just like him . The bigger issue here is the fact you can break the law in Cali and spend hardly in time in jail. This is why Bobby and folks like Lindsay Lohan will continue to f*ck up. There is no real penalty for their actions.

I've spent more time in the pokey for routine traffic violations!
Trust and believe Bobby will have another DUI soon enough. He's run out of excuses, he's not trying to change.

i think the real issue here is prison overcrowding. i bet it has created a culture where people are not afraid to commit minor crimes, because they know even if they are convicted, the prisons are too crowded for them to stay in there very long.
You know what I am HAPPY! I am glad to know that this crap doesn't only work for Lindsay and u know what send him to rehab and make him stay there

And the thing is the L.A. Court system is laying ppl off left and right so cases are left in limbo longer that are not dismissed.
My landlord won't file eviction paperwork with any of his tenants because with CA laws, a person can stay up to 6 months rent free, regardless of how much they owe or other circumstances. When the court first began laying off in 2008, one couple stayed in their place for almost a yr rent-free because the paperwork took a long time.

The state of California is broke as hell. They can't build bigger jails or staff them. This is what they get for turning a blind eye to all those illegal immigrants sneaking into their state and not paying taxes. Lowering wages and living twenty to a two bedroom apartment. You couldn't pay me to live there.
Perfect example of how everything is going to hell. This fool drives around drunk and can easily kill someone and yet he basically serves no penalty.

This negroe's been to jail so many times they've probably customized his cell by now. Got a name plaque on the door, brown wallpaper, matching comforter and curtains. Monogrammed slippers in front of his cot. Knows all the guards on a first name basis. STAY OUTTA TROUBLE BOBBY!!! Go check out Bobbi Kris before she falls off of her emotional cliff. She could really use a dad right about now.
