Kandi Burruss scored a second season of her music competition show The Kandi Factory on Bravo but the first seasons' winner says he still hasn't received his prize...
Kandi Factory season one winner Matthew Solomon was supposed to receive a song written by Kandi and a music video produced by Kandi's team, but Matt lashed out on Twitter yesterday claiming Kandi didn't live up to her end of the bargain.
After a fan Tweeted Matthew asking about his song Matt replied, "Haven't heard from Kandi since the show. Sorry you can't download my song."
But Matt didn't stop there Tweeting,
"Wow Kandi, I got you a new season and u lied about what u promised. Using Kim for press."

@2:03 exactly. And when, where and how? I didn't know this chick had a reality show. For WHAT exactly?? All the wrong damn reasons I bet. You all notice the pattern here: One cheesy ass "reality" show comes out, the cast members are a bunch of washed up idiots and wannabees, that show gets cancelled or is abruptly ended, then the leftovers from THAT cast each get their OWN show...then from their show and its crappy cast members into even MORE shows after that. REPEAT. THIS is how the reality show circuit keeps moving, these producers just don't know when to stop. If mofos weren't intriguing audiences on that FIRST show, how in the hell did they deserve a show of their own? Money, time and fame wasted on some bulls**t.

Well I'm sure that Kandi's no Angel, but there's a possibility that the reason they haven't proceeded with that dude's "Prize" is for more of a strategic reason. For example, they could be waiting to debut it for the new season to leverage off the publicity and interest for the new season. Let's face it, it doesn't take long at all to write, record and master a song for semi-competent artist, shoot a hood video with a Digi-Cam(Youtube is FULL of them!) and then throw it up on iTunes(which is unfortunately easier than you think; there's a lot bullish*t on iTunes), and then chop up some "Behind the scenes at the video" footage for the show. The problem is probably in the communication to Mr. "Prize Winner", or should I say "Prize WHINER". If it was explained to him that he has not been forgotten, even the most basic of projects can benefit from any sort of strategic marketing plan.
Unless he was actually signed under contract to Kandi's Label as an "Artist" or there was some sort of exercisable option in the contract for such an opportunity and would halt any outside moves he makes, this Idiot should have strike while the iron was hot, capitalized on the FREE promo and had a track and hood video of his own on Deck in case Kandi flaked out. Sorry but failing to at least get his "Shine" lined up on his own outside of what she offered is otherwise a Dumb and sucker move. OK, so he's got some Press now from this mess, what's his next move? In all this time has he at least tried to step up his own PR and social media game? I'm bet on "No". So he can take all that whining somewhere else, cause he's playing himself waiting for Kandi to make him a Star.

I suggested to Kandi years ago to do a songwriting show. She has yet to take that advice. If they're just in it to dick the talent around, steal their publishing, and shelf the creations, why bother? Stop playing with folks.

i feel bad for kandi w this situation. why should she have to keep in contact w them. especially w how untalented they both are. they're blaming their lack of success on kandi. when really they only have themselves to blame. it was clear from the show that they're both impossible to work with. melissa is out of shape, lazy and an emotional cripal. and then mat is tone deaf, also an emotional mess, and creepy as all get out. matts video was only made possible through voice alteration, lots of technology and then the choreographer and other producers having to work way harder than usual. not worth their time for round 2. so I'm sure kandi was extremely thrilled to send them home. they should be grateful that they got a chance to do what they did and then just leave it at that.
