On Monday Chad Johnson was sentenced to 30 days in jail after offending the judge at his probation violation hearing by slapping his lawyer on the butt during court proceedings [click here if you missed that].

Chad Johnson's attorney filed a motion yesterday stating,
"Mr. Johnson has been a professional football player in the National Football League for 11 years and patting another individual on the backside is viewed as a sign of respect and gratitude."Prior to the whole butt slapping incident Chad had reached an agreement for community service instead of jail time for three months of missed meetings with his parole officer.
Chad remains in jail until his hearing on Monday.
