Dave Chappelle Going on Tour

Comedian Dave Chappelle ends his self imposed exile and returns to the stand up stage this summer...

Dave Chappelle famously walked away from a $50 million deal with Comedy Central at the height of popularity for his sketch comedy show 'Chappelle Show' in 2005 [click here if you missed that].

Dave makes his return with “Funny Or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Tour.”

The 13 day tour kicks off Aug. 23 in Austin, Texas and wraps up Sept. 22 in Phoenix, AZ.

I'm happy to see my birthday brother back! He is the best in the business, and he can show the other harts, epps, and other corny weak comedians what's really funny.

Dave Chappelle is my favorite A.A Celebrity...He is too sharp plus he's a Muslim which makes him humble and not materialistic.

this is wonderful news: the big return to the stage of a truly talented human being. much respect to him for his self-imposed hiatus. can't wait to see him perform.

9:20 PM

I trust anonymous 2:54 PM meant Muslims that are more Americanized. I have seen those diamond encrusted Mercedes and toilets and even if I had that type of tycoon money I wouldn't splurge.

...But I digress; I also believe in the middle of Dave's sabbatical He's found humbleness and religion and never strayed from being true to himself which makes him very likable.
It's good to see positive comments on Snitch also...not one bad or negative thing said thus far.

Dave Chappelle is wack. A little funnier than Bill Cosby but not by much. Most of the Black comedians are whack nowadays except Bernie Mack and Martin Lawrence and Chris Tucker in their prime.

I will see you in Austin, Dave! Please believe!
