Blair Underwood is Ironside


Actor Blair Underwood returns to network TV in a remake of "Ironside..."

Blair Underwood stars as wheelchair bound detective Robert Ironside in a re-imagining of the classic series on NBC.

The original series aired from 1967 to 1975, starred William Burr and was set in San Fransico. The new series is set in New York.

The new Ironside airs on NBC October 2.

I agree with the people who say this will get cancelled before the 5th episode. The whole concept sounds like a bad idea.

The original Ironside was not an enjoyable show. And why did they change the setting? Don't we have enough shows set in NYC?

Blair just does not have good luck on the small screen. Every tv series he's starred in since LA Law has flopped. He seems to do well as a guest star or side character (like Sex and the City or The Incredible Adventures of Christine).
