It's a Wrap for the Beverly Hills Cop TV Series

After CBS passed on the Beverly Hills Cop TV series, because Eddie Murphy and CBS execs kept bumping heads [click here if you missed that], Sony-Paramount were sure another network would pick up the series.

It didn't happen..

The director for the Beverly Hills Cop pilot,  Shawn Ryan, broke the news on Twitter telling fans,
"Sad to report that efforts to land Beverly Hills Cop pilot at another network have failed. This iteration is dead for now."
But it's not all bad news. According to reports the TV series, which starred Brandon T. Jackson as Axel Foley's son, is now in development for a Beverly Hills Cop IV movie.
