Music Fest Loses 4th Sponsor Over Chris Brown

This is getting ridiculous. Earlier this week two sponsors for the Energy Rush Music Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia cut ties with the event after learning Chris Brown had been added to the line up [click here if you missed that].

Two more sponsors just jumped ship...

Molson Coors Brewing Co., and an esthetics company called Touch of Radiance both released statements saying they were withdrawing their support from Energy Rush because they didn't want to be associated with Chris Brown.

Even the Mayor of Halifax spoke out against Chris telling the local newspaper,
“It makes me kind of sick, to be honest with you, that someone like this will be performing in Halifax.”
“Those of us who are in public life – I’m in public life, he’s in public life – you have to be responsible for your past actions, and I think it sends a very, very wrong message to everybody. I’m not keen on the city supporting this in any way.”
The backlash began after an online petition to get Chris Brown dropped from music festival received over 100,000 signatures.
