What the fuck does Defiance have to do with anything. Its gonna fail. MNight is horrible.

I love MNight films. MNight is all about using the intellect, something many of you lack.

Howard is wack though.

I like M. Night. He just got that hollywood curse. He hit Sixth Sense out the park early in his career, and people have unrealistically expected that ever sense. Much the same, he seems to have become jaded with tryna give those unrealistic viewers another Sixth Sense. So it's a mindfuck.

2013 After Earth - Hated that shit because it wasn't an M. Night film. His handprint could be found nowhere on this Smith Family Project bullshit.

2010 The Last Airbender - No comment...Just didn't like it.

2008 The Happening - Full of potential from the start, but like the nigga Magick and others have stated, it turned into some sort of political message. Well-written though.

2006 Lady in the Water - Excellent writing again, but too hard to convert into a visual format that would keep the casual movie fan interested. Watched it again last week - simply not a bad movie at all.

2004 The Village - Loved it. The whole concept was vintage Twilight Zone type shit.

2002 Signs - Liked it. Especially because he didn't tease all the way through and rewarded the viewer with the alien encounter.

2000 Unbreakable - My favorite M. Night movie. Gotta be one of the most underrated flicks of the new millennium.

1999 The Sixth Sense - The home run that started it all and set a new bar for end-of-movie twists and shocking endings.

1998 Wide Awake - Didn't see it

1992 Praying with Anger - Didn't see it

Not to mention, he produced Devil, which I thought was an excellent thriller flick.

M. Night ain't bad at all, but the average movie goer want the nigga to give em that same high that Sixth Sense gave em and it doesn't work like that. He's a great writer and in hollywood, the trick is to take great writing and turn it into great film. That's hard to do. Ask any avid book reader and most of em will tell you that they loved the book and hated the movie.

I gotta agree, simple MOFOs always have a hard time wrapping they head around intellectual movies. Every body kept looking for the rest of his film to be like his first. But I like his movies a lot. too bad the simple MOFO's are the majority and not the minority.

I can't stand his ass either, KiKi.

M. Night Shyamalan name should be "M. Night fuck up a movie Shyamalan"
BG you listed 10 movies. 1 out of 10 was a hit. Instead of getting better he fell way to fuck off.
When I read a book or pay my money to watch a movie, yes I expect the story to be told and make it good. Make me want to watch and/or read it again. Fuck up a movie is not worthy.

Mnight + Slickback Babywipes Ivanhoe= Cancelled before it airs! These two must have excellent casting couch skills.

@4:13 if you're trying to say that Signs & Unbreakable weren't good then I say you're crazy. I thought "Signs" was much better than "Sixth Sense." "The Village" was good too.

The Sixth Sense was an excellent movie. M. Night outdid himself with that one. He owns his own studio and lives there in PA. I've met him, very nice person. Let's see how this takes off.

I like Terrance. He's too outspoken for Hollywood and that's why his movie career got de-railed.
He ain't one of those Hollywood Negroes that have to degrade themselves to get a job.
My man is real.
Denzel can't do Terrance.
Will can't do Terrance.
No one can do Terrance.

you forgot to mention that he is a diva that thinks too dam highly of himself, and likes to control women with his micro penis. You right, can't NOBODY to Terrance!

@4:13 - Forget a hit, I couldn't care less about what people consider a "hit", most good and even many great movies don't ever become hits. But that just goes back to my point. M. Night will never please the casual moviegoer because they'll always be looking for a "hit" like Sixth Sense. In the meantime, they won't watch gems like Unbreakable, Signs, The Village, etc and consider him a one-hit wonder. Transformers (all of them) are some of the most retarded films of all-time, but they were "hits". I can at least appreciate M. Night for trying to bring more to the viewer than bullshit CGI, "hot" girls, and explosions. Directors like Michael Bay are the reason that moviegoers are dumbed down now. Directors like Michael Bay need to jump in the 12-foot end of the pool and drown..

@5:08 and BG - yes, I'm saying with the exception of 6S, all his movies are garbage! Ok, "hit" may not have been the right word to use because you are right, there is a lot of bullshit movies that are hits. MKnight Fuck Up A Movie - movies are just dumb and boring as fk. Neither one of your guys are deep.

Correction: Neither of you guys BG and 5:08 are deep

Terrance Howard is a diva. Got himself kicked off the Iron Man series for demanding more money. Made $4.5 for the first one and was replaced by Don Cheadle.

Anonymous said...

Tom cruise is a diva, notice none of his EX wives say shit about him just good stuff.
Terrance is a proud brother that can't be fucked with.
Mofos think light skin niggas are suppose to be nice and sweet and shit.

Terrance isn't hard on females, he just plays his position if being the nan in the relationship. There's no switching of gender roles. He respect your position as a femaƂe, you respect his position as a man and don't disrespect what he brings to the table when it comes to relationships.

Some women want to Out-man the dude in relationships , but TH won't relinquish his crown.

You must be a woman beater too. To defend a man who beats women is as low as you can go. I know you play your position when it come to baby wipes it's on your knees.

Anonymous said...

Terrance is a BITCH with his punk ass self. The only position he should play is bottom bitch. How can any woman out-man a bitch made dude?

Bee Gee said...

@7:14pm - You say that neither myself or 5:08 are deep, but all you can offer is "dumb and boring as fuck"??? To each his own, but you can do better than that - expand please..

So wait, Roach and Fist are hooking up right in the same city as Rihhanna's tour, out of all the places to travel, its like they feed of her fame because the media isn't intetested in them without Rihanna being in the mix, I'm happy Rhi moved on and stopped letting them use her.

Unbreakable was super underrated to me, I just found it to be a really good flick.
To this day if signs is on I'll watch it like it's the first time for me.
I like M. Knight, he tries to bring a different perspective than just big explosions etc...
Sixth sense was a gift and a curse for him.

It's quite a shame when intelligence and objectivity are met with such disdain. Articulate and well-written/thought out opinions seem to send low-level beings into a tizzy. #prayforthem #andtheiroffspring

It's quite a shame that you came to a GOSSIP BLOG expecting anything but disdain. Take your ass with your nose in the air to MOVIE CRITICS.com. After that take your ass to church okay asshole. Worry about your own offspring.

@BeeGee 3:04pm I agree. I do like M Night. The last airbender looked beautiful but moved too slow(he shouldn't have written the script)and the action scenes were really lacking. The Happening was interesting to a point but should of been a short movie like a Twilight zone or Outer Limits episode it dragged on. Didnt Love Lady in the water not terrible just not really memorable. LOVED Signs and the Village, it had amazing acting and story telling.Liked Unbreakable a lot. Loved the Sixth Sense, amazing acting and great direction.
