Kanye West Under Fire for Wedding Gig

Kanye West is catching heat for performing for the President of Kazakhstan who is notorious for his poor human rights record and intolerance for dissent...

Kanye West was paid $3 million to perform at the wedding reception of President Nursultan Nazarbayev's grandson over the weekend.

Other artists, including Sting, have canceled gigs in Kazakhstan after Human Rights Watch slammed the oil rich republic for its bloody crack down on striking oil workers.

Instagram videos of Kanye's performance have popped up online showing wedding revelers largely ignoring his show.
