Queen Latifah Show Debuts with Big Numbers

"The Queen Latifah Show" pulled in the highest ratings for a day time premier on CBS since 2009...

1.7 million viewers tuned in Monday to catch Latifah chatting with her celebrity friends.

First weeks guests included Will Smith [who executive produces the show with his wife Jada], Jamie Foxx, John Travolta, Jake Gyllenhaal and musical guests Willow Smith and Nas.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww, hell.....

JADA IS EXECUTIVE PRODUCER?

I wonder if Jada and Queen had a celebratory scissoring after the first airing.

Her show is so boring and seems fake to me. I have not been able to watch an entire show yet.

Kinda like when she tried it the first time its not quite gettin it...she always looks so beautiful and I actually like her but as a talk show host she just falls flat and lmao as willow smith being a musical guest

I hate these talks shows hosted by celebrities interviewing other celebrities. It's nothing but an hour-long ass kissing extravaganza.

I miss the days of Sally Jesse Raphael, Jenny Jones, Phil Donahue and the old Ricki Lake.

I missed it but since I liked her last talk show, I'll make sure to check this out.

Queen is a legend. She's come a long way since her rapping days. *singing, "Ladies First"*

Cosign. I love The Queen too, but that sh*t is a snoozefest.

@4:06
Lol! You're showing your age boo, but I'm with you on that. Let's add Geraldo to the list and the old Maury Povich before his show became all about paternity suits! I used to like when he had the beauty queens on there and you had to guess which women were real and which ones were trannies! Damn, I miss the '90's :) And I was just telling my husband that Ricki Lake's new show has NOTHING on her old sh*t from back in the day. As a matter of fact, I think they canceled it because I never see it on anymore.

All the queens (john, will, jamie and jake) & kings (jada, mc lyte, alicia keys) represented well for their fellow DL hostess didn't they? Lmao that shit was like a damn coming out party! Still love latifah though but the show was just blah imo

It's going to fail. Don't nobody want to see her as a talk show host. Just sayin...

At 4:36 PM we can talk about the old Maury Povich, Ricki Lake, & Jenny Jones shows all day. I like the episodes on the Jenny Jones when those little kids went 2 boot camp.

At 5:35 PM I'll bust out laughing when u called MC Lyte Jada & Alicia Keys are Kings and Will, Jamie, Jake, and John as Queens

Oh Gawd! Richard bey and his "Thunder Thighs" episodes! LMAO!

Good for her! But I still prefer Steve Harvey's show-katie couric was suppose to take Oprah's place on daytime talk show-but that's not happening! I have not been able to get into Arsenio's night talk show either.

Who is watching this boring BS??? I caught the premier and the show with Will Smith and it put me to sleep. Dana is holding back, pretending and we never see who she really is. The days are over of playing it safe, the public knows the difference. She had on a dress and was looking like someone's sunday school teacher. Ain't nobody buying that. She should take this time out to spend as much as she can with her ill mother. Time waits for no one.

I tried watching her show a couple of times, and was not able to sit through an entire show. I loved "Living Single", and I loved her as a rapper, but she seems really fake on her talk show. Its like she's trying to cater to white people and forgot where she came from. Even Steve Harvey is himself....I have never seen him be fake on any of his shows...ever! I hope Queen Latifah gets her act together or she's going to get cancelled!

I agree. This show is very boring! Walking around looking like a big man in drag, fawning over all her "mainstream" guests. Give me The Steve Harvey show any day! And thank you to the person who mentioned " The Richard Bey Show", I loved that show as a kid! ;)
