Yesterday embattled L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling was hit with a lifetime ban from the NBA, fined $2.5 million and ordered to sell his team after audio tape leaked of Sterling castigating his bi-racial girlfriend V. Stiviano for publicly associating with Black people [click here if you missed that].
Apparently Sterling is not going down without a fight…
Fox News correspondent Jim Gray says he was told personally by Don Sterling that the Clippers are NOT for sale.
Sterling can be forced to give up his team, but 3/4 of the NBA owners have to agree to the sale.
Don Sterling bought the Clippers for $12 million in 1981. Today they are worth a staggering $575 million.
