Yesterday fans were left shell shocked after actor Michael Jace was arrested in LA for killing his wife in the home they shared [click here if you missed that].
Now comes word there were warning signs…
TMZ dug up divorce papers from Michael's first marriage were a friend of his ex-wife testified that she witnessed Michael grab her by the throat and slam her into a wall while their six-month old son screamed from his crib right next to them.
The friend claims Michael's fury was "one of the most terrifying things [she had] ever seen."
Adding to the mystery TMZ also revealed Michael and his wife had gone into foreclosure, filed for bankruptcy and had been arguing over money.
