Comedian Tracy Morgan is suing Walmart over the June 7th crash that left him and three members of his entourage seriously injured and took the life of his friend and writing partner James 'Jimmy Mack' McNair…
The suit filed in US District Court in New Jersey this week claims Walmart knew their driver Kevin Roper had been awake for 24 consecutive hours before the crash and that, “Walmart was careless and negligent in the ownership and operation of its motor vehicle, which caused Mr. Morgan to suffer severe personal injuries.”
Tracy Morgan and three other plaintiffs are seeking compensatory and statutory damages, punitive damages and legal fees. They also want Walmart driver Kevin Roper to go before a jury.
