Bobby Shmurda Bail Set at $2 Million

Yesterday 21-year-old rapper Ackquille "Bobby Shmurda" Pollard was arrested in mid-town Manhattan after a two-year undercover investigation conducted by the Brooklyn gang violence, drugs and guns task force [click here if you missed that].

Bobby has pleaded not guilty and his bail has been set at $2 million….

From Page Six
“Ackquille is the driving force behind the GS9 gang,” said Special Narcotics Prosecutor Nigel Farinha in Manhattan Supreme Court, where the crew was arraigned on murder, attempted murder, assault and drug dealing raps. “He is also a violent enforcer of the gang’s activity. He’s a drug dealer, and a prolific one at that.”
Shmurda, 21, who is signed to Epic Records, a subsidiary label of Sony Music, pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, weapon possession and drug dealing raps. Justice James Burke set bail at $2 million for Schmurda and Chad Marshall aka “Rowdy Rebel,” who is also signed to Epic Records.
Despite the serious allegations, the label is standing behind the artists and helped to retain their lawyers.

did they just say what I think they said......charged with drug dealing raps....did not know rapping about selling drugs was a crime...DAM!!!!

Another statistic. Sad. You would think he learned coming home from juvenile now he has to repay the company that bailed him. He has to blow his money on a charge which he could have made for himself. Im not sure he does it on purpose, but him, Keisha cole, and the like, feel like they can get away doing reckless shit, because"They made it" or they "So and So". When will they wake up. They better count their blessings. Cause if they weren't famous or have string puller like birdman, they would not get bailed out. J/S

*they would not get bailed out at least quickly or easily or quickly

This is foolishness.. Rappers like Jay-Z set the blueprint on how to turn dirty money clean but these young rappers just dont understand...

Artist dream of having the success his single had but whats the point of even wanting to be a rapper if you go keep doing the same ol hood crap. SMH!

@10:23AM... thanks, I didn't know he made bail.

Jay ain't set the blueprint for ish he is STILL marketing drug selling to our youth who could really use some positivity from it's grown up members

Jay is paid for this, glorifying things to feed the prison industrial complex he is nothing but a coon and a pawn who we need to turn our back on for the sake of our impressionable youth that no one seems to care about

Y'all really have been brainwashed, jay is prt of the system that is destroying our youth as all of them are....all of these arrest stories re just marketing jail to block youth who now see it as a rite of passage, can we end this nonsense nd see our kids and see our legacy as a group of peop,e

I wish I had two whole fucks to gave about this nonsense...... But I will comment on it.

I feel nothing for these fools who think poisoning their own community (or anyone else's) is a good idea. So you wanna be a gangster.... get killed or go to prison like one.

They know better and choose to do wrong. Fuck them all. let them rot. Why should anyone try and save you when you choose not to save your damn self?

This dude told some of his story, if not all in his song hot ni99a. His parents must've abandoned him or been on drugs. Either way they aren't shit for allowing this dude to grow up the way he did.

Drugs, gangs, violence, murder, and vulgar Rap music seem to be the MO for most of these young black males. Rev Al Sharpton should consider organizing a 50 state march through the black inner city neighborhoods to clean up these demonic forces that are tearing down are communities.

It's take to wake up all this street life is nothing but a trap there is no glamor, glory or anything worthy that comes from it, why do we let these losers pollute our ears and minds with email

This death music i mean it's like people think there is nothing besides gangster rap when rap didn't even start out that way

Why are we afraid to move on from this music that is obviously killing us, we can keep the beats but we hVe to dem s that these lyrics change as who is it benefitting

The penal system
The court system
Hospitals
Ambulances
Liquor stores

I mean where do we benefit , so why are we still blindly following these paid coons?

Are we lacking in mental capacity as the other races like to say, can't we see this mess is killing us, it's time to be for real

Did the label post that $2 milli to get those monkeys out is the real question. If they didn't post bail getting them a lawyer is nothing since it's coming out their advance money anyway. Leave the lil fucks in prison where they belong.

I totally agree with you! Ugly back men and women should not be allowed to procreate! This nigga looks like a straight up crack baby! Yeah, I said it!

His dad is in prison and I guess he must live with his mom, but he's always had trouble with the law. Having said that he should still learn that you can't go around talking about shooting and killing and not think the cops are going to go after you. @3:49PM your comment had me dying!!!!!!
