Kyle Norman from 90s R&B group Jagged Edge was arrested in Atlanta yesterday after assaulting his fiancé and shoving her engagement ring down her throat.
Police were called to Kyle's home early Thursday morning where they found his fiancé's face covered in bruises and a golf ball sized knot on her forehead.
The fiancé told police they had been arguing about Kyle's drinking when he punched her in the face, choked her with a scarf and shoved her engagement ring down her throat. Kyle also took her car keys and broke her cell phone. The victim told police she began to agree with Kyle to get him to calm down and escaped as soon as he turned his back.
Officers found Kyle walking down the street and when they approached him he yelled, "I need to go to jail."
Kyle was taken into custody booked on aggravated assault charges.
