Lil Wayne and Birdman headed to court after a break-down in contract negotiations…
According to TMZ Lil Wayne and Birdman tried to come to an agreement this week regarding Weezy's Cash Money recording contract, The Carter V album release and money owed Wayne by Cash Money Records.
Negations came to a halt after Birdman refused to release Wayne from his contract, refused to release Tha Carter V and refused to pay Weezy an $8 million advance on the album.
Sources tell TMZ Weezy and Baby are now headed to court and from now on Lil Wayne will be recording music outside the Cash Money umbrella.
