Lil Wayne Sinks Tidal's Ship?

Earlier this month Cash Money CEO Bryan 'Birdman' Williams filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Jay Z and Tidal after Cash Money artist Lil Wayne debuted his 'Free Weezy Album' on the fledgling music streaming service [click here if you missed that].

Now industry insiders are whispering Birdman's lawsuit is the straw that broke the camel's back…

From Hit Daily Double,
Tidal has gone eerily quiet of late, apart from statements of support from Nicki Minaj and Madonna, and the word is that Jay Z is looking to get out.
This ambitious undertaking has cost him millions of his own money because he never got the expected funding, he still hasn’t paid the licensing fees to the rights holders and no one is likely to throw him a life preserver and bail him out, so he has little choice at this point except to stop the bleeding.
Interesting to note that it’s not Apple, Sony, UMG or WMG that could be putting the final nail in the Tidal coffin, but Cash Money’s Slim and Baby Williams, with their copyright-infringement suit against the service for its recent exclusive with alienated label artist Lil Wayne.

Ha! and a bitch ain't one...
We always pull each other down ... we will forever own 1 1/2 of 1% of U.S wealth just like in slavery days ... oh well

@12:36 Please. Jayz doesn't own Tidal. Just like the Nets, he has a small percentage and he uses his name to try and sell this to us. And sell an inferior product that's already in existence. How does this help us? Why should we buy it? Cause he said so? PLEASE It just makes more money for his pockets and the whites who own it. #realtalk

@1:25...So what the point still stands we fight each there down. If it doesn't apply here it does somewhere else...Have a nice day!

They treat all of us like we are products of service this is the true meaning of a sleep. Glad to have my own mind I am not a technology, material, consumer, capitalist, or brand chaser. They think that they can control your footsteps through celebritism, advertisement and social media and many do follow.

@2:19

But your simple azz wrote that on a Jay Z post like it applied in any shape or form. Tidal failing has nothing to do with black people pulling each other down and everything to do with brand Jay Z expiring with TPTB. This is really bad for Jay because he fiends for the spotlight and to be the white man's boy. Hope he don't do anything crazy.

@ 3:22 #Truth

It appears to be: Jay Z's calling card has expired with TPTB.

Jay z if Tidal was a booming success: That's all me! Men lie, women lie, numbers dont. $$$

Jay z now that Tidal is an epic fail: Don't blame me, it's Lil Wayne's fault!!
