The Soul Man Renewed for Final Season

The Soul Man renewed on TV Land for its fifth and final season…

TV Land announced this week that The Soul Man starring Cedric the Entertainer and Niecy Nash is coming to an end.

The final season will have 12 episodes.

The Soul Man was TV Land's highest rated series among African American adults.

For some reason I kinda lost interest after the second season. I gave it a shot.

I didn't even know this still came on. Actually I think I may have watched only the very first episode.

Soul Man was probably the only black show on tv land of course it had the highest ratings lol you have to read between the lines on these PR releases. I haven't watched one episode and yet it made it to 5 seasons. Speaks to how widespread tv is these days.

Yeah @11:07 you know some of the militant kneegrows will whine and complain how "we all" are not supporting black shows but it takes more than black faces to keep everyone's interest. It was a good lil show for the few eps I watched but I lost interest as well. I'm glad it lasted as long as it did tho.
