Yesterday Mariah Carey confirmed the news that she and Australian billionaire James Packer were engaged to be married [click here if you missed that].
Turns out both Mariah and James are still married to other people...
According to TMZ Mariah Carey's divorce from Nick Cannon is not final and neither is James Packer's divorce from his estranged wife Erica Packer.
Obviously a wedding date has not been set.
On a brighter note the Internet is positively buzzing about Mariah's Flawless D 35 carat diamond engagement ring, designed by jeweler Wilfredo Rosado.
In comparison the engagement ring Kanye West gave Kim Kardashian totaled 15 carats and the one Jay Z gave Beyonce was clocked in at 18 carats.
