Bill Cosby Drops Defamation Lawsuit Against Beverly Johnson

Last year comedian Bill Cosby filed a defamation of character lawsuit against model Beverly Johnson after she accused him of drugging and attempting to rape her back in the 80s [click here if you missed that].

Cosby has withdrawn the suit...

Lawyers for Bill Cosby tell TMZ the lawsuit is being put on hold until the conclusion of his on going criminal sexual assault trial [click here if you missed that].

Cosby vows to refile the lawsuit against Beverly Johnson before the statute of limitations run out.

I'll say this I was sexually abused growing up and never spoke up out of fear and after finally speaking up all people ask me is why'd you wait so long or I don't believe you.
It's so unfortunate when the why becomes more important than the incident.
I'm sure Bill dropped it and will settle out of court. So unfortunate

@8:56am - You're right. He should have left well enough alone. The hedge was removed but he's too proud and too blind to see it.

Allegedly, this prosecutor wants to make his career from this and wants to see Cosby die in jail. If he were smart, he would have taken his money and left the Country when this all started, but instead he decided to sue.

I don't know what's in the cards; These charges are reprehensible, but he's done so much for private art collecting and Black Philanthropy.

Plus, Woody Allen is still free. Ugh.

Yes, "private art collecting" far outweighs rape. Fuck this tangle eyed bastard and fuck Beverly Johnson's flighty ass as well.

12:09 - I'm just saying let's weigh the deeds of ALL alleged perpetrators of sexual crimes equally. That said, Roman Polanski, Woody Allen, and the dude from "Glee" are still walking the streets.
