Karen Civil Addresses Internet Backlash

This week rappers Cam'ron and Joyner Lucas both accused media maven Karen Civil of theft [click here and here if you missed that].

Karen addresses the backlash without addressing the accusations...

From Essence Magazine
E: You’re all about bringing positive vibes to social media, yet right now you’re receiving a lot of negative backlash on Instagram. Let’s talk about it.
KC: Yeah. I've gotten to a point where this isn't the first time it has happened to me. It's all about how you use your social platform. Right now, I'm just using mine to empower people, get my entertainment and my news. Other people use their platform for different things. It's unfortunate that cyberbullying is something that happens to 13-year-old kids in junior high and adults in the workplace. It's something that we have to deal with as Americans. I am now a testament to it, and it's happening to me. It's definitely an unfortunate situation.

She is a thief..Camron and this other dude wouldn't waste their time lying on this girl. I believe them 100%..Her saying she is being bullied is just what liars say when they have been caught red handed. Her blog is trash by the way.

Bullying? You spelled getting put on blast wrong. Had you paid that stolen money back when the people you stole it from reached out to you this wouldn't a topic.

Plus didn’t Cam put you out there because you lied on his name.

Listen, if it's true then Cam'Ron and the other dude need to hire lawyers or involve the police. Google "PR Theft" and see all the alleged PR people who get caught stealing money, jewelry, and merchandise...

Remember on SATC when Samantha used Lucy Liu's name to order the Birkin? Happens all the time, except the large fashion houses usually prosecute people. Girl, hire a lawyer and get off the Internet taking incendiary photos before more people come forward.

I've heard a few ppl and the biz and have had a personal experience as well...people get so caught up in what they see on social media that they believe anything. She sells the illusion well...hell a lot of ppl do. Just sucks for ppl like myself who are grinding the right was not atealing or sleeping to get on. I feel the only reason the guys didn't go to the cops is because it wasn't legal money she stole.. She admitted it in an interview saying she felt like they owed her...only so long the fake can pretend!!!!

Thing is, there are slot of professional PR businesses, do your homework before you hand anything over 500 dollars let alone 50k to some individual for "branding"

It was probably drug money anyway.if that's the case, charge it to the game, you're helping to destroy people's lives and families by selling drugs in your community. If it's not hard earned cash, don't expect the universe or the unforeseen forces that be to shield you from some type of loss.
