Please stop these performances in front of a white audience!

Whites do not care about a black struggle or cause! As a matter of fact, most blacks do not care about their struggle or cause.

@7:28 have you heard his album? It's amazing and not for shock value. The entire album is well put together. He's a rarity and should be applauded for his poetic and musical contributions. His awards were well deserved.

@7:22 there is no need to hide our art. It can be displayed for America to see that we're a thinking people.

Nothing like a good 'ol early morning gathering!

7:22 they really don't though, look how they mocked Beyoncé on that SNL skit, dumb ass Beyoncé out here looking like a pasty cracker, with hoarse blond hair then got the nerve to be political. SNL quickly reminded her that she doesn't even look black. Stop preaching to crusty white folks, they don't give a shit and blacks need to stop giving a shift about them and trying hard to assimilate.

But wait: Was the black eye part of the performance? I ran downstairs, came back, and noticed he had a shiner on this left eye

@8:42 - yes, the black eye was make up. the whole performance is a statement about being beat down by the system... in jail "they can lock our bodies, but can't trap our minds."

go back online, find the video and watch again. there are lots of messages in that performance. "on February 26th I lost my life too" he's talking about Trayvon Martin. again, rewatch and GET the whole thing.

@ 7:22 - why stop? They need to feel uncomfortable.

Kendrick knows how to put on a show.

Kendrick's a great performer. A rarity for rappers.

That performance was excellent but let us not forget that other time he performed (last year Grammy I think) where he was on that black and white set with the white suit on jamming with that white band and at the end his white suit was splattered with blood. Kendrick has sold his soul and just because right now he's saying all the things we wanna hear don't mean he's not a part of something bigger. In order for minds to be manipulated and a message to be carried out in the end you first have to get the attention and acceptance.Im keeping a close eye on Mr. Lamar.

Fuck Kendrick his girlfriend isn't even black....

Ok, hold up tho! So some senior citizen Rock band group called "Hollywood Vampires" can come out on the Grammy stage with blood smeared on their shirt, with hells fire lit up behind them while they throw up the 666/Baphomet sign and nobody says a word about their "creativity"....but when Kendrick Lamar stood firm and spoke out about racism, slavery, prison industrial complex and police brutality now he's a racist? GTFOH!! There is a double standard here as always, so much so even so called blacks can't see the forest for the trees. SMH. It's a sad state of affairs in our society.

It's sad that Black people still feel so inferior to whites, nor do they feel like they are "American" despite most being born/raised/housed here for most of their lives...

Black millionaires/billionaires with white staff members and you STILL talking about you "oppressed"? Self hatred is real.
