Mathew Knowles Turns His Back on Homeless Veterans?

Mathew Knowles accused of canceling a charity event for homeless female military veterans in a cash dispute ...

Retired Army Lt. Keli Chevalier tells Page Six she rented space at Mathew Knowles' House of Dereon Media Center for $2,500 to hold a benefit for her charity, 'Trauma to Triumph', but was told at the last minute her event was canceled because someone willing to pay $7k wanted her date.

Chevalier claims she didn't find out until a day before the event when she asked to be let in early to set up.

Mathew Knowles disputes Lt. Chevalier's version of events telling Page Six,
“I was told someone wanted additional time to set up. If they could not get that time, they wanted a refund . . . So I offered them their refund . . . We could give her a discount, but not additional time. That’s how we run a business.”
