Miami Police Officers Union Support Beyonce Boycott

Yesterday there were rumors police officers in Tampa Fl were silently protesting Beyonce's Super Bowl performance by refusing to sign up to work security for the Tampa stop of the Formation World Tour [click here if you missed that].

Now the Miami Police Officers Union are speaking out and asking other law enforcement agencies to support a Beyonce boycott...

Yesterday the president of the Miami Fraternal Order of Police, Javier Ortiz, released a statement urging police officers around the country to support the boycott,
“The fact that BeyoncĂ© used this year’s Super Bowl to divide Americans by promoting the Black Panthers and her antipolice message shows how she does not support law enforcement.”
“We ask all law enforcement labor organizations to join our boycott across the country and to boycott all of her concerts.”
