The Life of Pablo Fails to Chart

Kanye West's new album The Life of Pablo fails to chart in the US or the UK...

Kanye West released his new album The Life of Pablo last week exclusively on TIDAL and this week TLOP is nowhere to be found on the Billboard Charts in the US or the UK Albums and Singles charts.

But its not all Yeezy's fault.

Despite reports of TLOP being pirated over 500k times, one of the main reasons it failed to chart is because TIDAL, surprisingly, did not release any TLOP streaming data to Nielsen this week.

Who's Neilson? Ish is just not as good as he thought. When your ego is too big & you're surrounded by timid folk, this happens.

The album is dope. But its being overshadowed by all his stunts.

Everybody knows that album is good. I thought it wasn't for sale though.

The album is actually good. I guess Tidal just trying to fuck him over. He should have gone with Apple.

If it was on Apple I would have bought it. Kanye RARELY disappoints - only 808's and his choice of wife are fails...

Remember when Kanye was the man? This reminds me of Chad Johnson (re: stunts and wifing heauxs.)

Just let the work speak for itself. If it's good you'll get a ton of attention.

Sidenote: As much as I love Kanye, I'm not risking my credit card being charged multiple times via Tidal. Allegedly they haven't fixed those glitches and frankly, with iTunes I see no need for an additional downloading platform.

@12:37 PM - I agree. I believe Kanye's antics plays a apart in the album not doing as well as it should. But, I believe it's more to it than that. This is why I said in the post about T.I. recently signing with ROC Nation/Tidal, that alot of these artists that are with this label have been doing poorly lately. I love Rihanna's new album, but it's not doing as well as it should. And, now Kanye's album is not doing well. I don't know what's going on over there at ROC Nation/Tidal, but this is not looking good at all. Rita Ora's suing, Melanie Fiona left, Bridget Kelly left, you hardly hear anything from Shakira since she joined the label, etc. It's a mess over there. It looks like folks careers are being sabotaged. Yet, people are dumb enough to keep signing up with them. Next thing you know, T.I. is going to either leave or start complaining and/or suing in the not so distant future. Mark my words.

We are all sick of the PUBLICITY STUNTS
And all the Social Media madness.
Back in the day, stars used to be mysterious....
And secretive...
Today its like your busted ass negihbor made a mixtape ..
BFD

too much info, too much drama.. And the albums are pieces of crap!
Did kanye really have to get on twitter ranting a raving,
Only to get smacked down ny Amber, then his fight with Taylor Seift was stupid..another "L"
Didnt think these people would pirate his album.
Just dumb.... And lets not forget his REFUGEE FASHION SHOW

With the exception of that song where he's mentioning the kardashians and Taylor, I think he was getting back to old Kanye with this album. He should've released it everywhere besides Tidal...hell he should put it back on the market.

@ 12:37= It was Kanye's choice to only expose the album through Tidal, a company he is part owner with. That being said, I agree....it was a pretty good album.
