TIDAL Slapped with a Class Action Lawsuit

A group of musicians are suing Jay Z and TIDAL claiming they haven't been paid royalties for their music...

According to The Jasmine Brand Yesh Music LLC has filed a class action lawsuit against S. Carter Enterprises and two other companies associated with TIDAL.

Yesh claims Jay Z did not obtain permission to stream music from 'The American Dollar' and claims the band has not been paid any royalties even though 118 of their copyrighted songs are available for streaming on TIDAL

Yesh Music LLC are inviting other artists to join the lawsuit and are currently seeking damages in excess of $5 million.

All I know is Prince needs to get his ass back on Rhapsody and Spotify and stop dealing with this sinking ship. That Tidal move was foul but I'm willing to kick it with his music again but he had better get gone soon.

A company that was built to protect the artist is being sued by the artist. Is this a smoke screen to hide the fact that they're likely selling Tidal to Samsung.

Jay Z does a business deal and it always seem like it's a great deal till it all comes out in the wash. DJ Khalid better ask Rita Ora how successful Jay made her.

In as much as we like to attribute Jay to successful business ventures, all his dealings have been marred by lawsuits and failure.

Rocawear; Roc A Fella (only Kanye was successful); his tenure at Def Jam; a cosmetic company sued him; Roc Nation sports; Roc nation music; Tidal. We were made to think he was a major owner of the Nets, yet he owned less than 1%, which he had to sell.
Which of his businesses have been wholly successful.?!
