Timbaland Denies Flint Water Crisis Reports

Last week a Michigan promoter put music producer Timbaland on blast for refusing to perform at a Flint Water Crisis benefit after he was served the wrong type of champagne [click here if you missed that].

Timbaland says its not true...

Timb's reps tell Billboard Magazine,
“Unfortunately, the statement made by the promoter in Detroit is simply not true.  Timbaland is an “extremely generous person who agreed to a much lower fee for this event to raise money for the Flint, Michigan’s water crisis. The promoter was fully aware that this was not a full band performance on stage, yet still promoted it as such. The club was still able to raise money for charity, which was our goal in doing this event all along.”

He is promoting a book, so of course he can do without this type of negative press.

Yea, I believe the report. Every since Tim has been so far up Beyonce and J Z's pucci, he's been acting all grand. This ninja made a big deal about ONLY drinking the Carter's expensive juice at a charity for people who don't even have good drinking "tap" water. Well, this establishment didn't have it and T-hole got mad, so he and his entourage queened out.

2ndly, This was a charity event for a great cause... So why is T-hole considered generous because he accepted to receive a lower fee than his usual rate? Is T-hole not rich? Was this not a charity event garnered to help people, including the less fortunate, who aren't able to purchase gallons of fresh drinking water that they need on a daily? But okay, I get it. He's "generous". Bless is "generous" heart. (sarcasm)

@4:42 I agree, I believe he got so drunk he did not feel like performing. They say that when the showed him he contract he went up to the DJ booth and just stood there. If the contract was wrong why would he do that? Trifflin
